the lowest since 2012. Minnesota corn survived, not thrived, as its statewide
average fell to 173.1 bpa, more than 10 bpa below average.

The House voted along party lines Friday to send the Inflation Reduction
Act (IRA) to President Joe Biden who has championed the legislation as key to
his domestic agenda. The bill spends $369 billion for climate initiatives,
including programs for climate-smart agriculture and rural renewable energy.

With nothing but hot and dry in the rearview mirror and out the windshield, the Kansas corn yield is on its way to 118 bushels per acre, the lowest since 2012's historic drought. In general, Missouri suffered more of a chronic soil moisture shortage than drought, and with better weather in the forecast, Gro estimates statewide corn yields will average 142.8 bpa.
